Heyyy. so. college. yeah.

oh. my. god. orientation in this place is so insane. it's a solid week of meetings and meeting five billion people and forgetting them all immediately and having the orientation staff scream and dance and yell at anything and nothing in particular. must be the drama kids.

yeah. compared to the average Emersonian, I'm downright meek. I'll meet cool film kids eventually though. but not through some pre-ordanied scream mob-fest.

i can't wait for classes to start on monday! i'm very happy with my room and my suitemates are good. and the dining hall is nice.

i miss all you GD kids and former GD kids. call my cell whenever and we can talk. :]

weeeell, my vma major classes have long titles so i'll just summarize them. essentially:

enviornmental ethics (yes it's ironic in a city)
media production
media history
research writing

almost all meet 2x week...a lecture-lab or lecture-screening type deal.

I have two biology classes, drawing and french; all of which are lumped together on monday, wednesday and friday.

What's it like living in the city?
